“Till Death Do Us Part” was developed in cooperation with McCann and implemented by partner organizations from the Western Balkans in eight Balkan countries aimed at preventing femicide as one of the most serious social problems across the region. The campaign’s central symbol is a black wedding dress, which serves as a powerful visual metaphor warning against the ending that must never happen. The campaign began with teaser videos and social media posts, introducing the symbol to the public and provoking attention and reflection. The official launch took place on November 17 in Skopje, with a staged performance by actress Tamara Risteska wearing the symbolic black dress. The campaign aims to open public discussion on femicide, emphasize the need for timely recognition and prevention of violence against women, and remind audiences that behind every statistic stands a human life cut short too soon. The campaign highlighted the regional dimension of this issue, sending a strong message of shared responsibility, public awareness, and cross-border solidarity in preventing the most extreme form of violence against women.
