Alfred Erickson, ad manager of McCutcheon’s departments Store in Manhattan, starts his own agency.
McCann and four partners launch the H.K.McCann Co. “Truth Well Told” is its credo.
McCann opens officees in Paris, Berlin and London.
McCann and Erickson merge to form $15 million agency.
First Latin America offices open in Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro.
McCann becomes the first US agency to bill more than $100 million in television and radio.
McCann opens in Australia, its first owned Asia-Pacific office, while also expanding its presence in Italy, the Netherlands and Switcerland.
