McCann Skopje Wins the Golden Sempler Award

McCann Skopje is the proud winner of the Golden Sempler Award at the 15th Sempl Media Trends Festival held in Portoroz, Slovenia. Our project “Becutan Radosnica” was selected by the international jury among the strong competition as the winner in the category Best Social Media Campaign.

The Golden Sempler is the first international award for a social media campaign in Macedonia.

“Tikves Bon Ton” was the second project from McCann Skopje that marked great success at this year’s Sempl event. It was selected as a shortlisted project among heavy competition and received the Sempler Diploma recognition.

“Becutan Radosnica” is a modern digital adaptation of the traditional mothers & baby book . It was prepared for our client Alkaloid AD Skopje for one of their most famous brands Becutan. The book of everlasting memories captures every special moment of baby’s life  such as the first ultrasound, family tree, first smile, bath, word, first vacation, New Year, birthday and so on.

The project “Becutan radosnica” was implemented on 6 markets simultaneously which was quite a challenge. It was immediately accepted. Becutan’s fans were genuinely thrilled by the idea and they’ve started filling in the books right away.

So far, there are over 10,000 baby books created and memories saved. With “Becutan Radosnica” we succeeded in making the brand Becutan part of baby’s growth and memories and give mothers another reason to love and be loyal to Becutan even more.

SEMPL is an international media event that presents new trends and analyses best practices.
